The Wright Pils is Prepped for Summer

Summer can take you to new and exciting places. One minute you're flipping steaks on the grill, the next you're at an outdoor music festival (Burning River Fest, perhaps?) or a rooftop patio party.

For long summer days, there's no better drinking buddy than our latest seasonal, The Wright Pils. Named after the brothers Wright who invented and built the world's first successful controlled airplane, The Wright Pils is the Wildly Imaginative Thinker in our Exceptional Family of Beers.

At just 5.3% ABV, The Wright Pils is naturally suited for multiple test flights of fancy whether you're relaxing on a blanket waiting for fireworks to start or playing an intense day-long wiffleball tournament.

This is a sessionable beer that doesn't skimp on flavor. Brewed in the traditional Bavarian style, The Wright Pils has classic style with a flowery bouquet and elegantly dry finish. It's smooth and clean with crisp bitterness provided by Hallertau and Czech Saaz hops.

The Wright Pils Honey Citrus Vinaigrette

Ingredients:
 
1/2 C citrus juice (lemon, orange, or a blend)
1/2 C The Wright Pils
1 tbsp local honey (substitute agave nectar for a vegan option)
6 fresh basil leaves, chopped
2 1/2 C olive oil
Salt to taste
 
 
Method:
 
Combine ingredients (excluding olive oil) in blender. On medium speed, slowly add oil until a nice consistency is reached. Serve over your favorite mix of greens or toss with a fruit salad. Yields approximately four cups of dressing.

The Wright Pils is a versatile beer that pairs well with a variety of foods, including salads, salmon, tuna, and marbled meats.

"The Wright Pils"

Had my first "The Wright Pils" beer yesterday. Very Tasty, as all GL Brews are. Also had a "Monster", which 'mellowed-me-out', the whole afternoon. My favorite is still "The Edmund Fitzgerd".. Keep-on-Brewing, Great Lakes. You are definitely, on the 'Wright' Track ! ! !
