Fall, 2011
To Our Loyal Customers,
We hope you’ve been enjoying the colors, smells, and breezes of fall, ideally with one of our wonderful brews. Our Oktoberfest and Nosferatu were warmly received this season, and it’s time for our pedigreed Edmund Fitzgerald Porter to be enjoyed as the season slowly turns cooler.
Of course, this is also the season when our famous Christmas Ale is released. Long waiting thirsty fans are now not only able to enjoy their own supply, but also set aside some as cherished Christmas gifts for their beer loving loved ones. Instead of us waxing inarticulately about this storied holiday brew, we thought we’d let some of its fans do the talking:
We’re pleased to partner with Ohio City Inc. again as a sponsor of the upcoming Ohio City Christmas Festival. Based on the success of last year’s one day inaugural event, this year will expand to four Saturdays that could rival even the best Christmas Markets in Germany: November 26th, and the 3rd, 10th, and 17th of December from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Go to ohiocity.org to learn all about the participating vendors, entertainment, Santa visits, carriage rides, and more.
Also new this year is a fun collaboration with Mitchell’s Homemade Ice Cream, who is using our festive Christmas Ale in a new Christmas Ale Ginger Snap ice cream. This delicious new blend is now available on our Brewpub’s menu, in our Gift Shop to take home, and in the five Mitchell’s Northeast Ohio locations.
We all know there are certainly challenges with the economy (we’re doing our part by having added 22 jobs this year alone, with more to come), but there is still much for which to be thankful. We are most grateful for the honor to have our Christmas Ale and all of our Exceptional Family of Beers as part of your family’s holiday traditions.
Our Holiday Best,
Patrick F. Conway Daniel J. Conway
