Christmas Ale Party Punch

INGREDIENTS

Cocktail Ingredients:
Ice
1 ½ oz. vanilla, cinnamon, orange infused bourbon
½ oz. fresh lime juice
3 oz. cranberry juice
¾ oz. ginger simple syrup
3 oz. Christmas Ale
Fresh cranberries, rosemary spring (for garnish)

Infused Bourbon Ingredients:

Bourbon of your choice
1 whole vanilla bean
3 cinnamon sticks
½ Orange, cut into wedges
 
Ginger Simple Syrup Ingredients:
¾ C fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
1 C sugar
1 C water

METHOD

Infused Bourbon Method:
Fill a large mason jar ¾ of the way with bourbon, add remaining ingredients, cover, and infuse for 24-48 hours.

Ginger Simple Syrup Method:
In a small saucepan on medium heat, bring ginger, sugar, and water to a simmer. Turn heat to low and gently simmer for 25 minutes. Strain and let cool to room temperature.

Cocktail Method:
Fill cocktail shaker ¼ of the way with ice. Add all ingredients except Christmas Ale and garnishes, place shaker pint on top, and shake vigorously until thoroughly mixed. Pour into a highball or wine glass, top with Christmas Ale, and garnish with fresh cranberries and a rosemary sprig.
