Cold Rush Gameday Bar Mix

INGREDIENTS

Dry Ingredients:

3 C corn Chex™, Crispix®, or similar

2 C rice Chex™, Crispix®, or similar

1 C pretzel sticks or mini pretzels

1 C Cheez-Its® or similar

1 C mini butter crackers

1 C bagel crisps (you can use plain, garlic, or onion flavored, but we prefer “everything” flavor)

1 C other additions, to taste (peanuts, your favorite crackers, etc.)

Wet Ingredients:

1 stick salted butter

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tsp seasoned salt

1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 1/2 tsp onion powder

1 hearty splash Cold Rush Premium Light Lager (or other Great Lakes beer of choice – try it with Dortmunder Gold Lager!)

METHOD

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F

Add all dry ingredients to a large bowl and mix evenly, by hand or with tongs. Empty mixture into a gallon-sized resealable bag.

Melt butter in a microwave safe bowl. Let cool for a minute, then add Worcestershire sauce and spices. Whisk until combined. Pour a splash of Cold Rush Premium Light Lager into your wet mixture, and gently whisk again.

Pour the liquid into your resealable bag, coating the mixture. Tightly seal bag and shake to evenly distribute flavors.

Spread bar mix out in one flat layer on a few cookie sheets, and bake for one hour (stirring every 15 minutes) or until crisped to your liking. Let cool, serve, and enjoy!

Optional: Use a can lid remover to empty out cans of Cold Rush, rinse, and dry out the cans completely. Serve bar mix in cans for an easy portable snack at watch parties, tailgates, and more.
