Great Lakes Michelada

INGREDIENTS

GREAT LAKES MICHELADA
2 Cups tomato juice
½ Cup brine from pickled jalapeños
½ Cup lime juice
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons Sriracha hot sauce
2 12 oz. cans Mexican Lager with Lime
Ice
Lime slice or jalapeño (optional)

SMOKED CHILI SALT
1 Tablespoon chili powder
1 Tablespoon smoked paprika
1 Tablespoon kosher salt

METHOD

Add tomato juice, brine, lime juice, Worcestershire, Sriracha, and Mexican Lager with Lime into a pitcher and stir gently until mixed. Set aside.

Combine chili powder, smoked paprika, and kosher salt in a small bowl. Spread the mixture evenly onto a flat plate. Rub a lime slice along the rim of the glass of your choice, then dip the rim into the salt mixture. Add ice to glass and fill with Michelada. Garnish with a lime wedge or jalapeño. Serve immediately.
