When you Let Em Know, we let em flow. As the Official Craft Beer of the Cleveland Cavaliers, we’re toasting to the home team all season long. And just as a coach mixes up the rotation, we see every season as a chance to offer even more exciting experiences, brews, events, and gear to your gameday lineup.
Read on to find the best ways to enjoy Great Lakes beer and Cleveland Cavaliers basketball as the 2025-26 season heats up!
Crack Open the New Cavs x Great Lakes Easy Buckets Pale Ale
Easy Buckets Pale Ale is a must for gameday. Named by a fan vote in the 2023-24 season, Easy Buckets is back for 2025-26 sporting a new look inspired by the team’s iconic “wine” jersey, and a refreshing new recipe. Now a Pale Ale brewed with Citra hops, Easy Buckets Pale Ale is your beer fridge’s bright, crushable MVP. Like a smooth fast-break layup, Easy Buckets satisfies with flavor and style.
You’ll find Easy Buckets Pale Ale in 6-Packs and 12-Packs at your favorite retailers throughout the Cavs marketing footprint, and in 19.2 oz. cans at Rocket Arena.

Tap Into the Great Lakes Experience: Find Craft Beer at Rocket Arena
Speaking of Rocket Arena, there’s no better place to root for the home team with a local brew in hand. The best place to find craft beer at Rocket Arena (in our humble opinion) is right outside Portal 16. The Great Lakes Experience has the largest selection of Great Lakes beer in the arena on tap, from your favorite year-rounds like Dortmunder Gold Lager, Midwest IPA, and Vibacious Double IPA, to rotating seasonals like Conway’s Irish Ale and Christmas Ale (in season, of course). Heads up: The Great Lakes Experience does not serve food, but there are ample tables to enjoy your concourse cuisine alongside a pour of our finest, served up fresh from your friendly arena bartenders. The bar’s multiple big screen TVs make it easy to keep up with the action on the court. The Great Lakes Experience is open for select non-Cavs events too, so make sure you swing by before heading to your seat.

On the Street Level, Club Level, and Loudville concourses, you’ll find 19.2 oz. cans of Dortmunder Gold Lager, Midwest IPA, Easy Buckets Pale Ale, Cold Rush Premium Light Lager, and Vibacious Double IPA at grab & go coolers. And if you’re lucky enough to score seats in one of Rocket Arena’s premium clubs and suites, you’ll find a selection of GLBC cans there as well.
Check In at the Great Lakes Cavs Bar Network: Watch Parties & Specials Near You

Warm the Bench (or a Stool) at the Great Lakes Brewpub
Our brewpub is just a Euro step (or two) away from Rocket Arena, and with a full menu of fresh and local eats and a wide variety of year-round, seasonal, and limited pub exclusive brews on tap, it’s one of the best bars in Cleveland to watch Cavs games. Enjoy $20 Cold Rush pitchers and $10 wings during Cavs games, or order an Easy Buckets Pale Ale and keep the glass. With a mix of seasonal plates, kids menu, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage options, there’s something for everyone to enjoy on gameday.

GREAT LAKES BREWING CO. INTRODUCES THE FLOAT SHOPPE:
A NEW LINE OF THC-INFUSED SOCIAL SODAS
CLEVELAND, Jan 27, 2026 — Great Lakes Brewing Co. (GLBC) today announces The Float Shoppe, its first full line of THC-infused beverages. The Float Shoppe Social Sodas will debut in late February 2026 across select markets.
Retro Inspired Flavors, Modern Craftsmanship
The Float Shoppe brand delivers nostalgia with a contemporary twist. Inspired by classic soda fountains and ice cream parlors, the line features colorful retro branding for a playful mix of carefully crafted vibrant, nostalgic flavors. The initial launch includes four varieties in assorted THC doses:
- Lemon Lime Rickey – 5mg THC
- Root Beer – 5mg THC
- Cherry Cola – 10mg THC
- Orange Creamsicle – 10mg THC
Why Social Soda? Crafted with real cane sugar and natural flavors, Float Shoppe Social Sodas are low calorie, gluten free, non-alcoholic, and contain less than 5g of added sugar per can. All flavors will be sold in 12 oz. can 4-Packs.
Beginning in February, The Float Shoppe will launch with authorized retailers in select markets, including onsite at the Great Lakes brewpub and gift shop.

Reaching New Audiences
Great Lakes continues to diversify its beverage portfolio to meet an ever-changing market. In 2025 the brewery began offering a limited THC-infused seltzer exclusively in its gift shop. Co-CEO Chris Brown underscores the importance of versatility in today’s market. “Consumers are looking for options tailored to specific occasions and lifestyles. The Float Shoppe connects us with new audiences, while staying relevant for fans who already love and trust Great Lakes, and want to explore new experiences.”
It also has unique characteristics to appeal to a wide variety of drinkers. “With better-for-you sodas growing in popularity, younger drinkers seeking big flavors, and older audiences beginning to embrace hemp-infused beverages, The Float Shoppe has potential to hit right down the middle,” Brown said.
A Trusted Standard in an Emerging Category
As THC-infused beverages gain momentum in the craft beverage market, GLBC brings decades of expertise in quality control and compliance. Co-CEO Steven Pauwels notes the brewery’s advantages. “Craft brewers are uniquely qualified to step into this space. We already operate with rigorous testing, safety protocols, and clear labeling standards. Consumers know Great Lakes for consistency and craftsmanship, and The Float Shoppe reflects those same values and standards.”
Positioned for Growth
GLBC leadership continues to monitor cannabis legislation and advocate for common-sense labeling and regulatory standards at both state and federal levels. To start, The Float Shoppe will initially launch onsite at GLBC and in select states to be announced. Marketing Director Vicki Campana notes the long-term opportunity, “Being able to offer THC-infused products is vital for the growth of our industry. We look forward to expanding distribution and eventually exploring online sales, but our focus right now is getting this exciting new line into the hands of as many customers as possible.”
The Float Shoppe Social Sodas release late February in 12 oz. can 4-Packs. Customers can learn more at thefloatshoppe.com and greatlakesbrewing.com

INGREDIENTS
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 12 oz. coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup room temp Christmas Ale
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease and flour a bundt pan.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, eggs, coconut milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Hold onto the Christmas Ale for later
- Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Stir in the Christmas Ale until the batter is smooth and slightly runny.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for approximately 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once your cake is fully cooled, drizzle with melted chocolate or dust with powdered sugar for a festive touch.

Cookie Exchange Chocolate Peanut Butter Bundt Cake
INGREDIENTS
Cake:
- 1 c Cookie Exchange Milk Stout
- 1 c Butter
- ¾ c Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 c Sugar
- 2 c All purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 Eggs
- ½ c Sour cream, room temperature
Ganache:
- 1/2 c Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 c Peanut Butter Chips
- ½ cup milk or canned coconut milk
- 1 small chocolate bar
CAKE METHOD:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease a bundt cake pan with nonstick spray; set aside.
- In a small saucepan, place Cookie Exchange Peanut Butter Milk Stout, butter, and cocoa. Over low heat stir occasionally until butter melts. Remove from heat, and whisk until smooth. Allow the mixture to cool for 10 minutes.
- Put flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into a large bowl, whisk to combine.
- In a small bowl combine vanilla extract, eggs, sour cream and set aside.
- Pour the cooled chocolate mixture over the dry ingredients. Mix until thoroughly combined. Add the sour cream and egg mixture to the bundt cake batter. Mix well.
- Pour the cake batter into the bundt pan and bake for 40-50 minutes depending on the size of your pan. Bake until a long toothpick comes out clean. If your pan has a dark interior the baking time will be even less.

- Completely cool cake before icing. Finish by topping with chocolate bar shavings.

GANACHE METHOD:
Microwave: add chocolate and peanut butter chips and milk to a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 20 second intervals, stirring in between, for a total of 60 seconds.
Pour over bundt cake and allow to cool. Sprinkle with more chips or powered sugar for fun decor.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 and 3/4 C all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 C unsalted butter, softened
- 2 C granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 C Great Lakes Brewing Co. Cran Orange Wheat
- 1-2 tbsp orange zest
- 1/4 C vegetable oil
- 1 C sour cream
- 2 C fresh cranberries
- Powdered sugar and orange zest for topping (optional)
METHOD:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, utilizing a mixer, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract until well combined.
- Slowly mix in the Cran Orange Wheat beer, orange zest, and vegetable oil until well combined.
- With the mixer on low speed, slowly add the sour cream and then mix in the dry ingredients. Mix everything until just combined, making sure not to overmix the batter.
- Add the cranberries and gently fold them into the batter.
- Grease a 10-inch Bundt pan with butter, then dust with flour.
- Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and evenly spread it around.
- Bake at 350°F for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Cover loosely with foil if needed for the last 5-10 minutes of baking to prevent excess browning. Do not pull the bundt cake out while still baking to avoid deflation of the cake.
- Remove from the oven and cool in the pan on a wire rack for 30 minutes. Flip the cake onto a serving dish to finish cooling. Once cool, add desired topping and serve alongside a Cran Orange Wheat.

Strawberry Pineapple Wheat Bundt Cake
INGREDIENTS:
Cake:
- 15 1/4 oz. box yellow cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 C vegetable oil
- 1/4 C crushed pineapples canned or fresh
- 1/4 C water
- 8 oz. Strawberry Pineapple Wheat
- 1/4 C pineapple chunks, drained well
- 1 strawberry gelatin dessert packet
- Fresh strawberries, to garnish
Glaze:
- 2 Tbsp Strawberry Pineapple Wheat
- Powdered sugar
METHOD:
- Set oven to 350 degrees. With mixer, combine on medium for 2 minutes: cake mix, eggs, oil, crushed pineapples with juice, water and beer. Divide the batter into two even bowls. In one bowl, add strawberry gelatin dessert mix slowly until achieving desired pink/red color (the more you add, the more the flavor of the cake can be impacted). In the second bowl, add in the pineapple chunks and mix slowly.
- Coat bundt pan with nonstick spray. Pour half the yellow batter into the pan, then half the pink batter. Swirl with a spatula. Add in the remaining yellow batter and then the remaining pink. Slightly swirl. Place in oven and bake 35-45 minutes. Toothpick should come out clean. Let cool in pan for 15 minutes, then place onto drying rack or plate.
- If desired, add powdered sugar or create and drizzle a light glaze. To create glaze, add powered sugar to beer, stirring constantly until desired thickness is achieved. If a thick glaze is desired, use more powered sugar. Let cake cool before adding any frosting or glaze.
- Serve with fresh or canned pineapple and slices of strawberries. Enjoy!
