GLBC Medals at International Beer Fest

Posted May 14, 2012

Great Lakes Brewing Company took home bronze, silver, and gold medals at the second annual International Beer Fest held at Cleveland's I-X Center. The awards were announced on Saturday, May 12 shortly after GLBC co-owner Pat Conway had the honor of delivering the Fest's keynote address.

Great Lakes Brewing Company would like to thank all those in attendance who stopped by the GLBC pouring station or enjoyed presentations by Pat Conway, environmental programs director Saul Kliorys, and brewer Luke Purcell. All of our winning beers were poured throughout Beer Fest weekend, and it was a pleasure sharing them with new and old fans. Cheers!

GLBC's award winning brews:

Gold Medal:
Edmund Fitzgerald Porter, in the Porters and Stouts category

Silver Medal:
Eliot Ness Amber Lager, in the Vienna Lagers category

Bronze Medal:
