Far away in the Highlands of Scotland, juniper branches are burned indoors to bring purity during Hogmanay, the New Year. Pub Brewer Steve thought that sounded pretty tasty, so with the help of juniper berries and lightly smoked malt, we say Ale Lang Syne with our latest brewpub exclusive.

Juniper Berries
Most commonly used to flavor gin, the berries of the juniper tree give a strong resinous piney flavor with hints of citrus. A great substitute or complement for the pine notes found in some hops.
