March 6, 2015 – CLEVELAND, OHIO – Great Lakes Brewing Company (GLBC), Ohio’s most celebrated craft brewer of award-winning lagers and ales, announces its plan to expand distribution into Coastal North Carolina. During the week of March 9, 2015, GLBC will enter the Wilmington and Outer Banks areas with distributor Coastal Beverage Company. Expansion will continue during the week of March 30, 2015 as GLBC enters Farmsville, Pollocksville, and the surrounding areas. By month’s end, Great Lakes will be found throughout Central and Eastern North Carolina, following the company’s strategic growth plans.
Customers will see GLBC’s year-round and seasonal beers in package and draft, as well as two variety 12-packs – the Taster’s Pack (a sampler of year-round beers) and a new Spring Variety Pack featuring four seasonal offerings. The new market rollout will involve multiple customer appreciation events, meet-and-greets, tastings, and giveaways throughout the area.
