VIP Experience Brewery Tour

Want to dive even deeper into the wonderful world of brewing at Ohio’s original craft brewery? Go beyond the beer with a Brewery Exclusive Experience. Nerd out with behind-the-scenes access to our sensory lab, and taste limited and small-batch brews you won’t find anywhere else—just like the pros do!

Guests will grab their first taste of our carefully crafted beer in our Beer Symposium before venturing into the production facility for an up-close look at our brewing, cellaring, and packaging processes. Then it really gets good. Get a personal tour of our sensory lab with our Sensory Specialist and Advanced Cicerone®, and put your tastebuds to the test with samples of beer straight from our fermenter, beer at different stages of its life, and limited or small-batch brews you won’t find on tap anywhere else! Tours last approximately 90 minutes and include a tasting of three beer samples in the Sensory lab, three beer tokens for samples of your choice in our Beer Symposium, and a souvenir glass to take home!

THE FINE PRINT

Choose your tour date and time carefully! Payment is non-refundable, and event date and time is non-transferable. Our tours start promptly at their scheduled time; no exceptions. Guests arriving late are not guaranteed a chance to join their tour. Please allow time to find parking and arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled tour start time.

Please be aware that buying out all of the tickets for a public brewery tour does not guarantee it will be a private event for you and your guests. A limited amount of walk-up tickets are available on a first come, first served basis at the start of every public tour day. Please visit the Beer Symposium to inquire about any open availability. If you are interested in a private tour, please contact us directly at 216.325.7846 for additional details.

Don't forget your ID! Guests must be 21 or older with a valid ID to consume or purchase alcohol. Guests without a valid ID at check-in will not receive beer samples. No guest under 21 will be permitted to consume alcohol; no exceptions. This tour is for guests 21+ only.

Visitors planning to visit the brewery MUST wear closed-toe shoes (i.e. boots or sneakers; no flip flops or sandals.) This is for your personal safety and the safety of our guests. Our brewery is housed in a 19th century building with narrow spaces and multiple stairwells. Be aware that breweries are hot and loud, especially in packaging areas and during the summer months.

Tour availability is subject to change. Details and offerings subject to change without notice. Questions? Contact us at 216.771.4404 or glbcinfo@greatlakesbrewing.com.
